Remarkably Mark #161: Jakarta TowerHigh Above Jakarta, I visit the Indonesian National Monument. You can see all around this HUGE city, with great views of the Independent Mosque and the Catholic Church right next to it, and a wonderful sunset.

It's Monas, isn't it? The only time I visited this place was on the national holiday, so I had to queue for over an hour to get into the lift that would take me up here (as everyone who inhabited Jakarta seems to be there!). Once up, I was there for only 5 minutes. Got a mixed feeling about this monument. LOL.
